# Release notes

See which Matterhorn behaviors this guide documents, when screenshots were captured, and how user-facing documentation is kept current.

## Analyst review and Ask updates

* Analysis shows review stages and reconnects to existing work after reopening or a browser wait timeout.
* Completed reviews show the roles from the same run.
* Automatic reviews cover the top ten after relevant new ingestion; other requested reviews remain saved and indicate when an update is available.
* Ask and analyst commentary use the configured AI service without changing financial scores or the frozen ML snapshot.

## User guide 1.2.2 — September 19, 2026

* The **Evidence rows** total shows the date of its saved count, separately from company data dates.
* Watchlist score changes appear beneath the current score, aligned to its right edge.

These interface changes preserve the score calculations and frozen ML snapshot. Existing screenshots retain their original capture dates.

## User guide 1.2.1 — September 10, 2026

Updated the watchlist, ML mode comparison, and troubleshooting instructions for the verified interface fixes:

* ML watchlist cards retain the beta score and show a separate **Matterhorn score · 7 days** history line.
* Score-history disclosures show exact dates and values; a change of scoring method remains explicitly caveated.
* Failed research loads offer recovery guidance. Failed refreshes preserve existing results and provide **Retry**.

These changes do not alter ranking calculations, the frozen model, or the 70/30 blend. Availability follows your installation's interface release. Existing screenshots retain their original capture dates.

## User guide 1.2 — September 9, 2026

Updated for the verified workflow refinements and neutral-dark interface:

* Compare controls stay in **Companies**; saved display preferences are respected.
* **Scoring Detail** names the investor-lens section; Analytics star averages and counts follow the selected sector.
* Five **Themes** tabs separate exposure targets, stress scenarios, drawdown comparisons, results across scenarios, and modeled holdings.
* Scenario balance colors compare with starting capital; market outperformance is a separate comparison.
* Watchlist arrows describe seven-day standard score changes. The frozen ML bundle has no corresponding weekly history.
* Refreshed 13 customer screenshots and added five focused illustrations. Capture dates are September 9, 2026 in America/Chicago; frozen ML data remain dated September 5.
* Added **Inflection Research** to the existing guide banner and corrected the opportunity-chart capture caption.

The model, ranking calculations, and 70/30 blend are unchanged by these interface refinements.

## User guide 1.1 — September 9, 2026

Updated for the approved **Inflection Research** interface, verified against stored research data:

* Responsive workspace navigation, compact opportunity rows, and contained table scrolling.
* Ask Matterhorn above Top 10, collapsed until **Show** is selected.
* **Detail >** for the ranking explanation.
* Compact economic theme rows with a hover, keyboard, or tap list of up to 25 scored companies.
* Theme previews follow the selected scoring mode; allocation and stress calculations retain their standard basis.
* Refreshed customer screenshots and instructions for checking evidence, review, and ML dates.

This interface edition does not change the financial definitions, model, or 70/30 blend documented below. Availability follows your installation's interface release.

## User guide 1.0 — September 8, 2026

This edition documents the running local Matterhorn beta, with source-checked walkthroughs, real application screenshots, explanatory diagrams, investor Pro Tips, and a glossary.

The verified experience includes:

* Standard rankings, filters, company detail, browser-local watchlists, and comparisons of up to six companies.
* Optional **ML enhanced** checkbox, Beta chip, and circled help control.
* Eight-axis ML opportunity charts in company and comparison views.
* A 70% component / 30% learned-pattern publication; the captured bundle is dated **September 5, 2026**, with **2,115 predictions**.
* Ask Matterhorn collapsed on load and the shared local commentary-model configuration.
* Revised manager synthesis using company evidence, measured CAN SLIM context, and qualified screening-peer context.
* Numerical citation checks, visible unresolved review warnings, and explicit demand-comparability handling.
* Source dates, review dates, and frozen ML dates interpreted separately.

## Boundaries readers should know

The beta has not taken over automatic production promotion. Movers and theme scenario calculations retain the standard basis. The compact user interface does not expose every model artifact or every contribution/audit field. Existing analyst reviews are preserved until refreshed.

Screenshots show actual stored outputs at capture time. Their contents can be outdated or contain analytical imperfections; capturing them is not an independent financial audit. The methodology pages explain how to check the underlying claims.

## Future guide updates

Review pages when controls, score definitions, source contracts, or publication behavior change. Refresh screenshots when the interface changes materially. Keep old URLs stable or add redirects when moving a page. Date changes according to actual verification, rather than changing dates to imply freshness.
